Hi everybody

Just to say that I've just moved from Glasgow to Wolverhampton, which means that I am in the Central Region now!?!

I had very good time in the Scottish Region and hope to have good time here as well!

Welcome to the Central region, its going to be a bit of a disappointment after the Scottish one I'm afraid.

Best Wishes

Welcome to Wolverhampton - just don't be tempted to visit the 'Scotlands' (bit of a dodgy area apparently).

Wolvo' is a lovely place and the people are freindly, I'm sure you'll love it (nice countryside).

never know you may bump into Nigel or even me when I'm down there at the 'out-laws'

Nigel:

do you remember my suggestion for a quick trip to France?

Well, I did something more extreme: Drove from Glasgow to Dover, then took the ferry to Calais, drove all along the north coast of France, then south to Belgium. There was a company of four UK plated cars, a BMW M5, a Porsche Boxster, a Mercedes SL500 and an Audi RS4 Estate driving at some 105-115mph and of course (!) we were dirving all together in the traffic: me behind the Merc, safely tailgaiting.... , the Audi didn't manage to undertake me... and the M5 as a real gentleman stayed behind me; the Porsche was doing his little tricks changing lanes.... most of the time!

They turned towards Brugge, but I continued to Luxembourg and then further south to France. Stayed overnight in the area of Mont Blanc, then Italy and took the ferry from Ancona to Patras, Greece.

Few months later, I did the same trip in reverse order of course and am back in the UK!

Next plan: do a similar trip through Germany and Switzerland

Nigel and Rhys:

Where do you frequent?!? with your cars I mean...

Marie-Noėlle,

If ever you and you car are feeling like a little trip out  try joining us for a North West meet. Our regular meeting place is only an hours drive up the M6 from Wolverhampton so if you are at a loose end come and join us you would be most welcome.   Steve.

Sounds good marie, I was only going over to get tobacco...as normal lol.

About the only place Rhys and I frequent when he's dowm here so far...is my house lol.

If you are free, next time Rhys is down, perhaps we ought to make the effort and meet up somewhere...mention curry and we may even get Peter Heinz along.

Best Wishes

Nigel
