Hi Jamie - my 2002 which is a standard single carb model with no modifications returns around 28-30mpg on a long run and 25ish mpg around town, although I've never sat down with a calculator and worked it out properly.  Not sure about an auto, but I imagine slightly less.

Can't give you the book figures, as I don't have it to hand, but I'm sure someone else will.  Hope you find yourself a nice 02 soon.

Check out our chairmans website, if you haven't already, loads of useful info there.

hi,thanks for reply - really appreciated, thats about what i was thinking but as you say guess auto less(any1 out there got 1&could let me know?)hopefully i'll find good1 soon-looked at few now all over the country & must admit people must be blind when describing thier cars-"totally solid"seems to be quoted quite often only to jump on train & waste a day looking as when get there and get overalls on i seem to be getting quite an expert finding rot(sometimes tried concealed)all over the structure....never mind keep looking ahh

thanks again
