What should I pay?

   A friend of a friend is offering me his 99V 328 coupe, metallic silver with black leather interior, 'fully loaded' with built in LCD tellys.
It has 37K on the clock.  I don't yet know how much paperwork comes with the car yet but I would guess that the mileage is genuine.  As I say it's a friend of a friend.
Prices in the Autotrader seem to vary a lot with some dealers asking a lower price than private sellers?
What do y'all think is a fair price?
