Hi

I am currently awaiting a yes or no from a finance company, if it goes ahead I will become the proud owner of a BMW 318iS with 25000 miles on the clock, this car is TOTALLY immaculate, not a mark or blemish anywhere that I can see.

The price on it is just £11.995

I know it has the Mtech suspension already as standard and is an Automatic but thats about it.

I test drove this car earlier today and I was seriously impressed by it, my current car / wreck, is a Astra GTE which I will be getting rid of quick as poss if I get my new car.

What should I know about owning a BMW? what are the maintenance costs like (im not worried about it just curious).

This is my first BMW and im looking forward to many years of ownership. I dont plan to modify it just to keep it as nice as possible.
At the end of the day Ive got to the point where I want something refined and comfortable, basically everything my GTE isnt.

Hey, Mav,

Another Newbie here.

I own a 318is sport 1999 model see pic below.

With regards to running, with the mileage still being low, I would still use the BM MAIN Stealers - sorry dealers. Although expensive if you keep the history at the dealers, your car will be worth more than if you had a specialist service and look after your car. Cost wise can vary it depends upon whether the dealers find any probs when you take the car in.

Good luck with car, I know youll love it.

Col.
