engine change 1.8 - 2.5

   right thinking about sticking the 325 straight 6 24v engine into my 318i but need to find out a couple things first.
will the engine fit straight in if ive got the engine,gear box, loom, ecu.
or will i the drive shafts front brakes
if any1 could help in telling me what else im gonna need that will be great.
