HI CLIVE HERE WITH A PUZZLING QUESTION
I'VE JUST HAD MY E34 M5 3.8 ON THE ROLLING ROAD AT A TEST DAY, THE RESULT WAS GREAT 337.8 BHP.  SO I CAN NOT COMPLAIN BUT THE GUY WHO RUNS THE ROLLING ROAD SAID "THE CAR IS RUNNING TOO LEAN MID & HIGH REV RANGE"  HE SUGGESTED TALKING TO BMW (AG) TO REMAP THE E.C.U . HAS ANYONE HEARD OF THIS PROBLEM HE SAID IT IS COMMON IN ALL M POWERED CARS SOME WHERE IN THE REV RANGE!

	You could try a Unichip, or Superchip to resolve it, but you would need to ask them specifically what it does throughout the range. What was your figure at the wheels, as the flywheel figure is a guesstimate and should only be used down the pub. BTW mine was 259.2 at the wheels and 334.4 at the flywheel (guesstimate) @ 6090rpm - torque was 313.8 @ 4856rpm. http://www.santa.demon.co.uk/BMW/plots.html What fuel are you using BTW.

	I WAS TOLD BY THE GUY WHO RUNS THE ROAD NOT TO CHIP IT!? THE CAR IS RUNNING ON SUPER UNLEAD WITH A FUEL ADDITIVE. SHE WAS 264bhp AT THE WHEELS
