Topic: Trouble finding mods for e46 compact!!! Posted: 08-May-2006 at 12:20 |

I recently just bought myself an e46 316ti compact (2002 model) (1796cc) its a nice car. I am now looking to slowly give it some mods. I cant even find an induction kit for it! i found one back box in my local autosave , and it was over priced and pathetic looking. anyone got any helpful sites or information on adding to it? would b much appreciated! This is my plan - Tints, inuction kit, sports backbox,17" Alloys & Tyres and a nice and subtle full body kit. any info regarding these items would be perfect. THANKS , Barry ;) |

Barry, If you're going for wheels go for wheels that fit e36/e46 3 series rather than putting any old 5 stud BMW wheel on because if you put 5 series wheels on a 3 series then you will rub out the arches and fitting spacers wouldn't make any difference. HTH Paul |

That is so wild! I have NEVER seen an E46 Compact. I though you guys were using coupe and compact as the same thing. Where can I see more pics? I like the front end mod/style on Webdunk. Very kool! So you have changed the bonnet and the front bumper? Seeing the mods you guys have is like going to Disney World! Does this forum have a gallery where nothing but car images are posted? |

The velvet blue compact is Tigger's - I don't think there's a big store of images of his, but take a look at the events section of the Scottish website at http://www.bmwccscotland.co.uk/ and you may spot some more.

E46 Compact handles well some say better than the saloon and coupe. It seems to have a bit of an image problem which is a shame as it is such an under rated car and is in a different league to the E36 Compact before it. |

I have heard that is true with the E36 version. I have not seen or heard of any in the US. Very nice looking car!
