Hi all,

One of the jobs to do on my dad's 2002 is to sort out the rotten spare wheel well. It's pretty bad, so I'd prefer replacing it  to patching it. I can't find it listed as a panel anywhere.

Has anyone else been here, done that? I'm thinking about cutting one out of whatever seems to be the same size in a breakers (my E30 looks like it would fit), but wondered if there was another option I should be considering.

Thanks.

The boot floor on myy 02 had been replaced before I bought it, so the panel was available at one time.  It's quite a common rust area I think.  Have you tried Jaymic/Walloth & Nesch/Fritz's Bits etc.?

Thanks, I've had another look at the suppliers, and they do seem to list complete boot floors. However the rest of the boot seems good on my dad's so I'm reluctant to shell out £180 for a panel that I'm going to throw 2/3 of away.

I shall have a wander round a scrapyard with a tape measure and some tin snips soon, I think.
