Another heavy steering

    I think my steering is too heavy. I have just had the tie bar replaced and it seems smoother but not lighter. It is a e38 735i 1999, with servotronic. I have 18 inch 245 section tyres on it but I think it should be able to manage these.

	I have replaced last Saturday the filter insert in the power steering reservoir. Probably that was the first time after the car was built. The filter was quite dirty, very fine black particles blocking the flow into the system, probably from thousands of hours filtering the liquid and filtering out abbrasive parts. Before the power steering was harder and sometimes it made a noise, now it is much smoother and I have the feeling also lighter.
