Welcome! You obviously have extremely fine taste in BMWs.

My Tip: warm up the rotors before hammering them.

Ian

Very nice. Do red ones go faster than black or green ones Phil?

yes Phil, there is only one wasy to find out!!  altho i think RED HOTT on RED BULL may be quicker

im new to the 8 series scene, is there any anual gatherings etc like they have in America?

i havnt pushed this car as yet! but when ive been driving 2 years in November and can afford to have a couple of points on my lisence, then i'll see what it can do. but i seriously underestimated the power when i bought it!!

the red is nice, altho it makes my driveway look a lil bright parked next to my red 318!

There were some European events organised through www.clube31.com but that website has been off-air for over a year now. Rumours are that Philippe (the website owner) is hoping to bring it back to life soon. I hope so, it was a good site.

What about a meeting in Alice Aprings? We could all go for a day long hoon up & down the Stuart Highway at 250, followed by a quick jog up Ayres Rock.

Regards Ian

Off to try Phil's idea of putting vegemite onto fuel injectors to prove that black ones go faster now.
