You need a classic though

Only kidding, looks like it'll be a good day out, especially with the weather as it is

Hopefully all those cotton wool cars will come out of the woodwork

Hmmm, 25 plus degrees weather, brilliant sunshine and loads of classics and no one seems that interested... am I missing something? Is it football related

Got a camera pod going on the newly installed rollcage so should have some in-car Ewok time to show you

Saw Ewok, I was collecting up a Caterham that blew it clutch. Ewok didn't sound too good???? Sounded like a worn waterpump, tensioner, alternator?

Should have said hello mate!

Had a top day, if a little hot  Ewok performed superbly even if the suspension is shot to buggery. Only thing to pass me on the day was a seriously modified cossie RS500

Ewok is fine now by the way. The alternator belt was slipping because one of the alternator bolts had sheered whilst on track causing it to come lose and loosen the belt. All fixed now though

Hi Nick,
I was at Combe for a while.I saw the car parked up. Had a quick look inside. It wasn`t until I saw the car on track that I noticed the reg plate and remembered reading about "EWOK" here :).
I saw the fun you had with the Cossie . The M3 looked to be going well. What was the DB reading of the exhaust? I noticed you had a supertrap thing on the end of the exhaust. so must of been over 102DB? (can`t remember what the limit for Combe is now) I assume that was that the Scorpion race system? Hope you had fun, it looked like fun.

I saw a few other E30 M3`s there and didn`t have mine with me (on-going project)

Hi Darren,

Sorry I wasn't around to have a chat

Yep, it's a silencer we bought from Merlin. Take's the db from about 105 to 95ish (depending on the day)  It's Supersprint Race btw.

Apparent Fast Ford (who sit literally a desk away from us) informed me that the RS500 is running around 500bhp plus

If you can get the car ready in the next couple of months, Castle Combe has another Action Day on 9th September called Eurofest. Hopefully we'll get a much more positive showing from the Car Club and hopefully some more BMs on track!
