Hi8 Unclejonboy

Here's a link to E38.org, there are links from that to other BMW 'enthusiasts' sites.  Handbooks for a few cars can be found there as .pdf documents.  They're quite big so depending on your connection speed may take a while to download (screen will just go blank for ages!).  Even if your particular model isn't there, there should be one of about the same age/model that might help to find out what all the buttons and things do.

I have a manual for a 1972 CSA and a left hand drive car of german origins. Although the body and trim of your 1975 car is slightly different than my 1972 model, the operating manual and technical info are the same. Would you want to swap your German manual for my English one?

Send a pm.

Hi Gus.... sounds just right.... Mine is red, says on the cover Betreibsanleitung, 3.0 CS 3.0CSi, but includes the auto.the serial number on the back cover is 01 40 9 420 d   1.5 IV. 74   It is in generally very good condition but must have got damp at some time because it's a little wrinkled, and there's a light crease on the front cover.

If you are happy to do a straight swop for yours that's fine, and if it's not what we both expected just send it staight back......UJB.

UJB,
I will check at home tonight, but I am sure that mine is for the 3.0 CS, CSi and CSA as well but in English. Also red booklet, generally very good and a crease over the front cover. Will get back to you.
