18's are no problem on an e46, 19+ and you will start to have problems with ride, tramlining etc

Ah, those are the ones that a few people on the 6 forum thoughtlooked utterly sh*te lol. they are of an e39 5 series, the centres have leagauara or something similaron them (bit scratched and faded to be able to read properly. the rim is stainless, and they are fake split rims. I now they are not league as that company don'tmake high quality rims. I was thinking Rial,not sure if the centreson there are original or not? can't imagine they are genuine bmw.
