   Hi back to BMW's after over a year away (V12 Jag & Range Rover!)

But have now got a very late model E32 740i that I need some help with.

The nearside passenger door seems to have remained deadlocked after 

double locking it in downtown Peterborough, it has the 7 series shimmy 

between 50 & 60, would this be down to tracking/balancing?

Does anybody have a handbook (preferably with the leather wallet) & the set 

of three spanners that they would like to sell?

And finally is Tetley still out there & are you still running my old white 730i?

Good to be back with the blue & white propellor again, have missed it!

	Hi there good to see a return to 7's from you. The doorlock probably needs the turn the ksy lift the handle trick, i.e. lift the huandle fully and then pull the button up past the resistance point to resynchronise it. If this fails then it probably the solenoid. The shimmy can come from several sources, if the car has original wheels and they are balanced then,,,,look at the upper wishbones as No.1 then lowers as No2 then a partially binding caliper as No.3, while you are under there do a full check i=on the steering draglink arms and track control and ARB link kits. The ownersmanuals come up regularly on ebay, I have the Bentley manual on the e32 going up for sale shortly if you need one of them and the tools again are easy pickings from fleabay. If I can be of any further help just ask
