Bought some smoked indicators for the front, wow they look nice in the box....  My local garage 'had a go' at fitting them, and said they could not get the indicator out.  No futher info.

I had a quick look and it looks like the nuts are rusted to the bolts, is that common on these motors ?

How easy is it to get them out (the indicators), I have a Bently manual and will look it up !  But any tips from you guys would be cool.

I have the complete replacement units, not just smoked lenses, so I would be changing the bulb and plugging the bulb and holder into this new unit.

Ta !

I replaced my orange with clear a little while ago and found no problems, the whole job took me 20 mins tops. They were a little awkward to get to, but they weren't too bad. Just a bit of patience is needed.

Good luck

Mike

The svres that hold them in have a washer built in, so it looks as if they are rusted together, they go into a plastic grommet thing so they cant stick that bad, spray some wd40 on them then try to give them a tighten first to break the seal then slacken them off, depending on what model you have you might find it easier to remove the airbox to get in.
