Club members in Cork

The fuel filler flap hinge is under €20 from the main stealer (I just got one - still have to get it to the new owner of my old 525!).

I had alot of those funny electrical glitches in mine, like when I locked the doors, the instrumentation cluster lights came on!

The left hinge in the boot (as you open it) contains the wiring for part of the rear lights, reg plate lights, locking etc.. The wiring loom here gets stretched and the wire insulation splits allowing wires to contact each other or in some instances break. So 1st thing I'd do is check that these are all intact and if not then make them so. It solved all the weird little glitches in my one in a flash.

We have meets every now & again Dave - I must go about getting one together in September.

Welcome to the club, I have an e34 too, see my signature, the e34's are great cars, bombproof body and mechanicals whern looked after and what a drive!!

With regard to the parts your after give walton smith a ring on 087 9011479 he has a couple of e34's at his place in ballyhooly, im actually heading down there tonight so ill check for you,

There are various meets but theres also a lot of club meets like mondello, economy runs, show and shines etc, of all my experience of other clubs this would be one of the more active and involving irish sections so your in the right spot!!
