Im thinking about getting an E30 (316, 318) in ok condition from the UK. However autotrader.co.uk is driving me mentle requiring different postcodes. Does somebody know of a website that provides a list of UK postcodes to search with?

Any help much appreciated!

HA2 9BU is Harrow in Middlesex. So a search of 100miles will put you in Central London, North London and the Home Counties.

Pick a location, say where the ferry terminal is then find that postcode - then just decide how far you are prepared to travel from this point. hth

I just looked at the address in Car magazine and do a national search. I'll travel as far as it takes to get the right car.

I always use a Holyhead postcode for obvious reasons.

RG12 7PZ was my old Post Code near Reading in Berkshire.....you can then choose your mileage distance from that (35 miles will take to to London outskirts comfartably).....other suggestion is to work off the Ferry port Post Code and take that as a starting point.....good luck with the search, a pal of mine I used to work with in the UK has just picked up a fully loaded E39 for ludicrous money....the second hand car market over there has gone crazy......If you are buying that is

I have been looking for an M3 for a while in the UK and the prices are mad money they seem to be keeping a good high second hand value and if you see a cheep one stay away not worth the trip.

Hi Guys....

I agree I would be suspicious if any of the Top Grade cars are seen as Cheap suchs the M3's and to a lesser extent the M5's etc as they are are still holding up well in the used market......but as a for instance a pal I used to work in the UK has just gone bck to a BMW after his family grew up a bit and has just paid Sterling 2400 for a fully loaded 1998 E39 Turbo Diesel, good history, leather and lots of toys....same owner for the past four years.....now that is cheap in anyones money and he said there is a lot more like that in the UK trader....makes me feel like going shopping if I had the spare dosh that is....

Hi there,

Don't know if you would be interested but I am putting my E30 up for sale shortly. I brought it in from England with the intention of keeping it but it looks like I have to replace it with a diesel car as I have to go further afield for a new job.

Quick desc. '93 E30 1.6i Estate with 109k on the clock. E/W, E/S/R, alloys, new tyres. For a few yoyo's extra, you can also get a spare E30 estate with a 1.8i engine!

Rgds,

Colm
