I am trying to find out what is the minimum thickness for the front brake discs are. The front discs are solid not vented. I have made my own measurment with a micrometer, and at the worst it shows .271 in.
TIA

The Bentley manual doesn't cover this as all US spec cars have vented discs.
However the Haynes book (I knew it had to be useful for something) says minimum thickness on a solid disc is 10.4 mm.
This equates to 0.410 "

0.271" equates to 6.88 mm so they are well beyond being due.
I would suggest this as a very urgent repair, as not only will the discs overheat leading to brake fade; I have seen very thin discs break away from their hub centre before so be careful.
