Just got my car back from the paint shop(e30 323i baur) and it seems to be shunting on tick-over and occasionally cutting out as im stopping.

Has anyone any suggestions or come accross this before.

Any help appreciated

Also it looks as if the manual 635csi will be making its debut at mondello,i have the brakes sorted just to get the exhaust fixed and then im ready. The suspension is very boaty on it but lack of time/money means ill have to make do.

P.S

Ill try to get some photos up as soon as i can.

Check all the vacuum hoses in and around the inlet manifold and idle control valve. Also check the big bellows between the air flow meter and throttle.

i agre about the hoses the main one from the afm can cause your issues and cause the revs to hunt if its damaged or not on correctly

ps if this is damaged bring it with you when getting a new one as there are 4 types for the e30
