When I mentioned kangroo courts on the original thread I wasn't even close. At least in a kangroo court they hear the evident with you there and give the decision against the "guilty" party anyway, what a complete and utter farce. How the present committee can stand by and continue supporting such actions as this hearing held at Gaydon beats me.

I am extrmely disappointed to hear that the club has acted this way. As you know, I feel that recent public comments in the club magazine can only have a very negative effect for all concerned. Apparently it will be revealed on next weeks crimewatch!
I still don't know what I did that resulted in my dismissal. Could it be that they didn't like the way I stood up to their plans? Could it be because Im withholding some money (against expenses) until I recieve a copy of minutes and a tape as discussed with the secretary and chairman - the details of both IMO would protray the secretary and chairman in a very bad light) Could it be that the club chairman is venting anger over intentions to have him suspended from the old club forum for repeatedly breaking the rules? (a ban which unknown to me was skilfully enforced by one of the moderators!) Could it be that the club believe that there is a threat from 'dissidents' who disagree with the current management and the current management want to remove this threat? Could it be that there is no valid reason? |

Explanation - I financed and ran the UK Scandinavia forum using it to successfully negotiate the clubs concerned out of BCE.
Despite no longer (for he time being at least) a member of the BMW Car Club, I am still actively involved in setting up a new BMW umbrella organisation for the UK, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. The amount of work spent in this project runs to thousands of hours, and with usual efficiency, the club refers to an abandoned long defunct forum in the letter mentioned above. Thats the way of things these days. All the work that Killian and myself have done for the club is thrown out the window for what reason? I don't know. Same applies to others who have done lots for the club. |

Nope!
AD in the office let me know by email prior to the witchhunt that the club was under no obligation to inform me of the particular reasons. So I/Howard were expected to attend a kangaroo court to defend ourselves against something that we were not aware of! |
