Guys n girls,

re the above, whats the stats for the cars listed..BHP,0-60 and vmax

Any preferences?

I take it the diesels can be chipped quite easily for additional BHP?

Thanks in advance

Which year Audi?

The A4 came with various flavours of 1.8T 150bhp, 163bhp and 180bhp. The 180 was reserved for the Quattro sport IIRC and the 163bhp was fitted to the post 01? model

Will tell you everything you want to know wrt to stats.

I don't have any preferences although if you had said a saloon i'd go for the 1.8T audi. For a couple pf grand it can be tuned up to over 200bhp which would turn it into quite a Q car. I wouldn't bother with a 318 and would only go for a 320d if I was planning to do a lot of miles.

I certainly couldn't see a reason to buy a 318 over a 320d.

Bry, I had an '03 MY 320d ES and it was a hoot to drive but BM diesels are expensive to fix if it goes wrong, I've heard some issues over turbos.

I also ran my bosses 1.8T quatrro for a couple of weeks. Not involving, bit boring, didnt like the looks (MY 99) and the suspensions combined with seats made my M3 look like a luxury reclining armchair...I swear it was a bench Audi robbed from a local park and painted black.
