e36 headlamp cover replacement

   Folks
A stone cracked the headlight on my e36 325i coupe.  I rang the dealer to order a replacement and the parts guy told me that I could just replace the cover rather than the whole unit.
I've had a look in the Bentley and Haynes manuals but neither covers this, just the removal and refitment of the whole unit.
Has anyone replaced the cover and if so, is it just a a few nuts and screws replacement or is there any more to it?

	The headlight comes in 2 parts You can change the lence by taking headlight out and the lence clips off You can get some pics off Here on how it comes aprt The lence can be bought from GFS For around �45 If you are doing one you may as well do both as it transforms the look of car with new glass Edited by Pete330
