I think they've got it right.

I agree, out of all the forums I visit this one has the best moderation. It's not prefect but then what is.

Its good to hear positive feedback but if its not perfect how do people feel it could be improved?

I wasn't suggesting it could be improved. When I said perfect I was simply saying that people have different opinions of what is acceptable and what isn't. For it to be perfection in my eyes I would have to moderate, but then that might not be good for someone else.

It is as good as it can be. After all you can't keep all of the people happy all of the time.

Thats was a very long winded way iof saying keep up the good work

Dave... all feedback on what we do here is welcome. This is a community that is nothing without it's contributors.

You have to bear in mind that we aren't a specifically adult site and can't police who reads the posts and as such we need to try to keep the content within certain limits as per the forum rules and guidelines.

If you have issue with something that's edited, pm the mod that edited the post and seek clarification.

My personal view is, I think Killian has done a great job of taking this forum from what it was (in the dark ages) and set it amongst the best forums of any kind on the net.

KB and the mods all do this for FREE (though pitsy gets cheap thrills from it )  They don't have to do it and to be honest, a lot of people would abuse this power or not treat it with respect. I feel this is not the case on this forum.

Though being guilty of swearing on here myself (behind stars) I understand in modern times, though more widely accepted, not everyone should have to see or hear it so I cannot fault it's deletion. As for text abreviations, even being from a younger generation myself, I still have to ask sometimes what the hell something means! But again, it's part and parcel of modern life so we have to take it as we find and maybe give it a chance. In 10-15 years, everyone will know what it all means and we'll wonder what the fuss was ever about!

This forum is full of useful information, good banter and mostly nice folks. I see no reason to complain..... except pictures of naked men should be allowed *cough*

I would recommend it to anyone who has a BMW, even those who don't!
