recon i may come along to this after all as i am off Sunday (Thought i was working) anyway does anyone know if the carpark is safe enough or should i park somewhere else and walk to the show ground (Field)

Should be safe enough Pete as the "Field " is a fair distance from the main street with nothing between but fields !!
