As my steering wheel was looking a bit shabby, I just bought an M5 multifunction steering wheel off of e-bay, which looks identical but with the addition of the buttons. Anyone know of a retrofit loom so the buttons can be used with a stereo? |

It can be done on the E39 so Im gussing it can be done too on the M3. Its more than just a loom needed. You will also need programming to get the functions to work.
More info on the way Im sure. Mick |

Mick, Thanks for the reply. As a matter of fact I won the auction 2 weeks ago and I still haven't received it yet, hope I haven't been scammed!

Ah, got it, but it's a post '99 wheel. I needed a pre '99 wheel with the slipring attached! Still it's a beautiful condition wheel. Will be back on ebay shortly! |
