Hagus M3 Mirrors

   As you might have read in my other posts, I am currently modifying a 1993 E36 Saloon.

I am thinking on replacing my standard mirrors with the Hagus M3 mirror set. 

Does anyone have any idea of what happens if a car side swipes the mirror? My main concern with these mirrors is that I sometimes have to park in pretty tight streets, and side mirrors have a tendancy to be hit. As these mirrors do not fold back, what is the extent of the damage if indeed they were hit. My standard mirror has been hit, and the is cracked. Would the impact cause any damage to my door, or the mountings within the door, or will it just snap at the brackets which I can deal with?
