Guys, just new to here. Looking forward to posting.

Anyway, want to replace the headlining in my 96 328i coupe. I want to go for the black sport lining.

Does anyone know or recommend someone who could do this for me, oh yeah and in Scotland.

What sort of price should this be?

regards

cj

Try your local dealer and see who they recommend - I understand that many farm out their trim / retrim work.

Also worth trying a company in Livingston - think they're called Transcal or similar. Known for retrimming some of the Max Power type feature cars so may be worth picking up a copy of the mag for contact details...

Welcome to the board - hope you can make it to a meet soon Next one is the AGM 30/11.

Thanks for the welcome. Stay the other side of Edinburgh so shouldnt be a problem to attend.

The girlfriends usual Ocean Terminal, South Gyle, Craig Park shopping sprees on a Sunday might be more of a hurdle.

Thanks for the reply anyway, I'll look into that.

Dunc's right it is Transcal on Houston Ind Estate, just off dual carrigeway. You will see the office as you enter the ind estate, but need to go 1st right and 1st right follow the road to the end where a bend takes the road left, turn right/straight on ish and then 1st right and thats Transcal.

If you go i hope you find it.

Is that the sort of thing they definitely do, I've emailed them but had no reply as off yet?

What sort of money would you think to change the headlining?

Of course theres the handles, visors, sunroof area.

Might be trickier than I anticipated

AFAIK, Transcal are specialist retrimmers and should be able to cope with your needs. It is worth noting however that a staggering number of companies who publish an eMail address are appalling at responding to eMails! I would phone rather than wait for a response.
