What have I done to my MID display?

   I recently removed the MID from my E39 528i to fix the pixel problem. I've re-assembled everything and put the MID back in only to find that the display is now inverse - i.e. before, it was orange on black, now it's black on orange. What the heck have I done? Or is there a setting within the unit to switch from one to the other?
