   Hi,

i have a 318is N reg BMW

the alarm keeps going off, it's a BMW T3 alarm

always goes off about 20secs after locking the car

makes no difference if you use the key or the fob to lock it?? done it for a while but seems to be getting worse. even if you leave it to arm itself it goes off about 1 in 3 times of locking.

anyone have any ideas ?? it's driving me mad !!

	I think there was a thing in total BMW on this and it was a shortcircuit in the alarm caused by moisture on the tailgate sensor caused by the tailgate rubber being split and letting water drip down. Might be completely useless, sorry if its no good. John

	Hi john, Thanks for your post... I think you may have hit the nail on the head there ! My tailgate lock is damaged and loose, to be fair BMW said they would have to fix that before trying to diagnose the alarm "fault", think I will get that sorted asap, thanks again !
