Which Anti Roll Bar Should My Car Have?

   evening folks, ran into a bit of an issue with
my '89 535i sport. was under it earlier today to fit the powerflex anti
roll bar bushes i have, id ordered the 18mm bushes being as the car is
a sport and has the mtec suspension. once id taken the old items out i
went to fit the new ones to find the roll bar is the 15mm non mtec
version, why is this as surely the car should have the mtec item being
it's a sport? what models came with the 18mm roll bar and where would
be the best place to get one?
