How on earth didn't he manage to catch the first slide? It wasn't exactly a big slide or going very fast. Poor driving if he over corrected like that to make it go more in the other direction. Over rated Beetles! |

My excuse when this happened to me in the M3 as I accelerated away from a standstill at traffic lights left through a roundabout was that I was on the way to the garage to get the LSD sorted - when it locked up! (p.s. the oil was like treacle when we 'spooned' it out) Edited by thepits |

I blame the nut behind the steering wheel. When you have that much weight and power over the back wheels in the wet, you don't keep dabbing the throttle with a crowd of people on either side. What a dunce! Mike
