Don't know if anyone has noticed this.  Interesting in light of discussion about which dealers may be losing the franchise.

I had heard of one particular dealer losing the franchise through the grapevine a few weeks back but wasnt sure it was common knowledge. Has there been any other new dealers announced? Im guessing ahern's are the most recent otherwise?

Ahearns and Keary's were the last new dealer additions but that was probably 18 months ago at this stage.  No other changes made public yet.  Its interesting that there is no mention of the new dealer on the BMW.IE news section even though they now appear on the dealer list.  This dealer seemed to suddenly add a bunch of fairly high end BMW's on Carzone a couple of weeks ago but it was only on last Sunday's Business Post motoring section that there was a published ad with the dealer and BMW logo on.

I've heard a whisper that there may be a shake-up of management in a couple of dealers that may save them from losing the franchise.  The changes would consolidate the management of these dealers to a common management more closely aligned to BMW Ireland.  Don't know if its true, but it sounds as if it amounts to BMW Irl effectively getting control of the day to day running of these businesses without the name over the door changing.

True for you Ben, Diarmuid is a mine of information. I heard the same, it seems that the name over the door will stay but the strings will be pulled from Dublin..
