   In case anyone has encountered the same problem...

My remote central locking key-fob (not the remote key) case had broken 

meaning that it couldn't be looped onto a key-ring which was a pain in 

the ass!

I've just bought a new remote central locking case, part number 

B82.92.9.402.510 from Derek Woodman BMW in Blackpool for �4.88 

including VAT.

Since the remote was still working it was a simple job of unscrewing the 

case and putting the contents into the new case - hey ho... job's a 

good'un!

I had actually been expecting a large bill for a new remote fob - for once 

I was pleasantly surprised!!
