Just got myself a Gilmour Foam Lance & some Snow Foam.
Try as I might, I can't seem to get the car covered in foam like the photos show. Tried adjusting the lance right up to the max setting which did make the foam stay on the car a bit longer but it didn't seem to shift the dirt any better. Stripped the wax off a treat though & left some hard to remove residue behind which I don't thing was the intention. Am I doing something wrong or am I expecting too much from the equipment? |

A friend of mine had the same problem with a foam lance atttched to a Karcher, believe his was sorted by replacing the foam lance.

Gilmour is rubbish IMHO even more so if your water pressure is poor Its only an over priced Horse soaping machine
Only thing for foam is a foam gun for power washer washer Edited by Pete330 |

Gee! That's really helpful. Where were you when I was asking for recommendations? Water pressure is fine. |

Sorry to say Andy, but the gilmour is not that great. I have tried the gilmour and I bought the new hose attachment that karcher has to allow you to use karcher tools through your hose pipe. Both just dont have the pressure needed to create a good coating of foam |
