Water marks

Smart git....sometimes you just have to !

Any sensible ideas ?

Like buses, they come along in two's.

Right, lets start again..........in places other than Ireland or Scotland we sometimes have warm weather.......this causes the car to dry a little quickly, when its very warm, whilst you are still washing other bits of the same car.

This leaves horrid water marks, which are what I'm asking about.

NO I can't always wait until its dark, NO I can't stop it getting dirty,.................

can anyone tell I'm nearing my first ciggie less day ?

There are a few products available on the market that fit on to your hose pipe like this

You could also try and buy De Anodized water from rinsing (use a watering can to sheet rinse)

Seriously, keep the car wet when you wash it. Hose the car down completely, wash one panel at a time as per the two bucket method but when you go to rinse that panel, give the whole car another soaking and keep it all wet. 

It also helps when rinsing the car to use a garden hose with no attachments whatsoever, just the end of an ordinary hose, this makes the water run off in sheets from the panels.  Sprays or jets are not as effective for letting water run off.

Also using a decent car shampoo (and of course having the car polished) will help make the water run off the car.

When I finish washing my car I quickly run round with an old hand towel to dry up the water that is still on the car.

You have a dark coloured E34 don't you so I suppose it will be more noticeable with water marks.
