DAB, digital radio in cars

   Hello chaps, anyone got any experience of dab in cars ?
My old E34 has the original radio cassette, and I'd like cd capability, I've been looking around on e-bay, and come across some dab units ( I didn't realise they were so affordable!)
I've come across two units that interest me, a JVC & a Sony

I probably prefer the JVC as although the Sony looks better (in my opinion), my wife has a very similar looking JVC non dab in her Kia, and it sounds lovely.
The aerials are as much as the radio's !

Anyone got digital in their car ?......if so, what do you think of it ?......is it worth the hassle ?
