Hi guys just got back from the Woodvale show by Southport which had a car show.It had all kinds of cars such as Classic/modern/rare cars most from owners clubs. Most makes of car were there Merc Audi Rolls Royce Jags Etc etc. So i could not wait to see the BMW owners stand looked every where ,to no avail .I asked one of the Stewards were the BMW stand was his reply ,theres not one .He said he lost count of how many people had asked him.Come on North west owners get something sorted im sure it would be a great success. |

Hi there, Attending this show has been discussed by the NW committee on more than one occasion but firstly finding a club member local to the area who is willing to organise it has been a problem and of course the fact that it is held either on the same day or the week before the national Festival at Gaydon is the main problem as most people who would show their cars will prefer to attend the National festival. There may be a few who would prefer to stay locally but finding them could be difficult. If you fancy putting yourself in the frame to organise it for next year come to the regional AGM in the spring and speak to the committee. Cheers Steve. |

I would be willing to sort something out if i could get some feed back from other members. We would only need about a dozen cars to take part and i could show mine.Ive got M6 highline/M3 e30/325 motorsport covert.Hope we can get something sorted.By the way a lot of the cars that i seen were no means mint but is all about the taking part and meeting other BMW members. Thanks |
