Also try PartsAuction - the site should be back online shortly.

Tried flea-bay and found none! Looks like its handing over the hard-earned to Dick Turpin!

Cheers!

In fairness, its more expensive because it would not be a part produced by others because the others realise the money isn't there to be made as it would be a fairly low produced item.

I have been searching now for a while in different motorfactors, like OTTO and GSF, the usual common places that seem to be pretty well stocked with parts, for window switches for my E36 coupe.

None of the motorfactors seem to stock them or know if they can get them in, so I ring a main dealer......and I was shocked to say the least at the price I was quoted....€34 per switch plus VAT.

So I say to the girl on the phone in the parts dept. 'It's not the window motors I'm looking for, it's just the switches' to which she replied 'That's the price BMW quote and supply that part for!' Am I being scabby here or does that sound a little rediculous?

I tried scrapyards then and the connection blocks I came across are different to the original switches in my car, there must be somewhere I can get 2 window swithces without being robbed!!!!!

Cheers

Paddy
