Great day , great choice of eaterie, the portions were almost big enough for me!!

Lots of nice shiney cars. I did not go on the drive as i was going to mates.... he wasn't in. i have not been over the dukes pass in a while and would have enjoyed it.

Hope those  who are going to east fortune have a laugh, see you later

24 bodies! Well chuffed with the turn out and glad some of you made the run. Was really impressed with the Riverhouse and how they dealt no only with us as a large party but a couple of other monster tables too

D'oh, this was one passed by me.

I've been on and off nightshift and I don't know whether I'm coming or going or what day it is or obviously when the next meet is.  I had it in my confused state of mind that the September meet was at the end of September.....

I was sleeping yesterday anyway after working on the railway!

Glad you had a good day out.  Nice car shots.

Andrew

Sounds like a great time was had by all, where abouts is the River House?

It looked a little like the old David Marshal Lodge thats on the Dukes Pass just outside the Aberfoyle end of the road.

You are more than welcome Paul. It was nice to have a chauffeur for a change I don't get the chance very often to be a passenger.

We also had a great day despite the weather. The River House was lovely and we both enjoyed the meal......good choice Duncan!

The banter as alway was great and the drive was very cool over the Dukes Road. I will deffo head back over that way on one of my drives  I cant believe I have never found that road before in my travels. Thanks to Neil for planning the route.

See those who are going at East Fortune on the 28th.

ps. nice photos as always Neil.

Good call Dunc, the River House was an excellent choice of venue.
I would definately recommend it.

A good choice of menu (4 starters, 4 Mains and 4 Puddings)
The food was excellent and reasonably priced, although a few more vegeables wouldn't have gone amiss with the Mains.

Some of the cars ...

For Gary - some car porn ...

Some of us, did a post meal drive over the Dukes Pass (Callander/Aberfoyle) and stopped off for this photo opportunity
