Following on from Stevie's post i am looking for some ideas as to where we can hold our Aberdeen Mega Meet this year?
I have been holding off the plans due to poor attendance at our monthly meets this year,but still prepared to orginize something,so please give me some ideas as to where/what
As normal a collection for charity will be on going by either donation or possible raffles ect
I have chosen Help For Heroes this year http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk

I think the venue decision would be better left to one of the Aberdeen locals or someone that knows the area.
cirteria as usual, somewhere with nice food and plenty of parking. followed by a run to somewhere scenic for a group photo. I risk having my head blown off but no Beefeater type restaurants, I personally would prefer to pay a little bit more for some nice food. |

Date's been in my diary for a bit. I'll be there - you've got some going to top last year's Pete... can't wait to see what you come up with.

Somewhere down the beach is my obvious choice due to the proper parking facilities for all our shiny motor vehicles. TGI Friday's, Chiquitos, Frankie and Benny's, Pizza Hut think there are a couple more but that should please most diets, unless there are any fussy buggers. Daz

Beach = Cold
November + Beach = V V Cold. Indoors/under cover = I'll be there Up this way the only 'pulbilc' places I can think of like this is the AECC, Thainstone Mart or Huntly Mart (all of which cost dough) Anyone know of anywhere else that is kind of indoors that might have room for a couple of old BM's? on a cold winter's morn? (thought of agri buildings (like grain sheds) or storage warehouses) |

That’s just rubbing it in!! You’ve got Snow, I’ve got sand!! If I was in the habit of falling over I’d rather do it on snow and get wet rather than on sand and get hospitalised with third degree burns!! |
