Hi,
I`ve had my new daily driver since Dec. Unfortunately it lives outside. It`s done quite a few miles since owning it and on inspecting it after a clean wash today I`ve noticed the following:

1. One side of the front of the car (half of bonnet and one wing and headlight) had a kind of sticky looking substance on it. I washed the card but afterwards I could still see the substance on top of the paint. After clearning it, the paint had dark patches and was like rough to the touch. I think it was either tree sap or diesel or something as it seemed to repel water. At first I was annoyed but I tried the BMW inspect remover and actually this seems to of done the trick - surprisingly. Are there any other products for removing stuff like this from paint?

2. My car has small yellow circles on the back of it. I assume these are from a tree.Washing or anything doesn`t seem to be able to remove them. One I managed to scrap away with my finger nail but even this was hard going. One side of the back of the car is covered in the little yellow circles - lots of them. What`s the best way and gentliest way to get rid of these.

3. One of my front wheels seem to have black staining on just two of the spokes (it`s a Z4 Coupe with the 18inch multispoke alloys). I`ve used the BMW rim cleaning gel twice over the last few weeks and although most of the wheel comes up clean there are some dark patches on these two spokes, onjust one side of the spokes. These two spokes look like they have a matt finish rather than a shiny surface like the rest of the wheel. I assume this is related to my other problems and this is some diesel or plant substance or something that has caused this. Thinking about it, maybe I should speak to BMW to see if it`s a warranty claim (the wheel)but it`s probably just something I can sort out myself. Any ideas on getting rid of the black stains?

I`ve never had a car with these problems, usually I just wash and go. I`ve got yellow circles, sticky stuff on front of car that didn`t come off with a wash and now staining on one wheel- argh.

Any advice much appreciated.

The car has the special BMW lifetime finish on it that BMW put on it for me as a freebee before I picked up the car (so apparently it never needs waxing) - I didn`t think anything would stick so easily to the paint and stay there 8-)

Cheers
