Does anyone know what can be wrong with my 2002 3.0d sport, the garbox seems to  have started to change gear earlier than normal and when i put my foot down slightly it clunks down, also when i take it to 4000rpm it pulls back and stutters, this has started happening since a service maybe that is just coincidence?
anyone?

I would change oils firstly and give it a filter service as well to see if that makes any difference. If not get it checked by gearbox specialist

If you can't be good don't get caught

Don't know where I heard it but apparently early X5 models had gearbox problems. I'd take it to a specialist just in case it gets worse with use.
