Looks like it came from either a mid '90's Supra or an early early Alfa 156 picnic table spoiler.

ridiculous....should have gone to specsavers!!!!

not 100% but was there a post with a pic of a polo with a bmw badge?, anyway, in the office one lad was vw mad and couldn't stand bmw, just so happened there was 3 or 4 bmw drivers in the office, one of which laminated bmw badges and stuck them over every vw badge, drove around with em for over a week until someone pointed em out!!! bit of useless info for ye, might put a smile on the face!
