I bought this Weber replacement carb and it's now fitted (it's easy with right parts). I have one more problem to go (before start, of course- then I'll have lots of them):

Does anyone know if I can use my old throttle linkage or do I have to replace it with cable? And anyone with throttle cable: how did you fit it? (did you use some kind of kit or just self-made fittings?) Pictures? Links? Anything at all?

My twin 40's have a cable linkage. I used an e21 cable, if you look at an e21, the cable hooks onto the linkage in the engine bay. i just bolted mine together. I could send you some pics if you like.....

Pics might be useful...

I have rotated my throttle linkage ~180 degrees and it seems to fit. I'm not sure if this will work, that's why I'm looking for other ways to do this.
