The heating is not working in my 323i. It seems I'm not
getting any voltage to the heat valves. I've probed the
output from the control unit and it pulses between 0v
and 13v as expected. When I measure it at the heat valve
connector I get the 13v supply but almost 0v at the
control pins continuously. I've tried pulsing ground to
the valve and i can hear the solenoid moving (very
faintly).

This would suggest a break somewhere between the control
unit and the heat valve. I tried a resistance test
between the control unit connection (and what should be
the same piece of wire) at the heat valve and strangely
its 0.8, not quite 1 but not quite 0 either.

Any suggestions on where to go with this next?
