NEWBIE here from middlesbrough.  E30's are far better in so many aspects over the e36.  handling, build quality, Looks, and value for money. apart for the little swimming pool that occurs in the rear light clusters these cars are spot on.  I own both a e30 and e36. 89 E30 325i sport black with black leather.  95 n 323i coupe estoril (was mederia) lsg leather.  Keep up the good work ppl

I agree. I see my old 320 around, as I sold it locally. The new owner keeps it nearly as clean as I did and every time I see it I regret selling it, just because it was a bloody good laugh to drive and far less 'grown up' than the E36.

Richard,

Iam closer to the wear than the tees (bishop Auckland) so am very interested in what you are setting up. Im always amazed by how big the 'North East' region is. It doesnt sem to correlate with Mike Nevilles or Bob Johnsons idea!!!.

At the moment i have an E36 (M3 evo saloon) but if i manage to sell it in the new year i'm hoping to convince my wife to let me have an E30 as a toy (M3 again). Ive had 2 320's, 1 323 and 2 35 sports before i got the E36. For some reason the E30's still hold a place in my heart. What is it about them. Good build quality coupled with simple mechanics........

Darren.

Hello all Tyne / Tees members

Early in the New Year 2004  I hope to launch a Local Group  for E30 owners,  it would of course as always be open to others as well.  I have recently become the North East Rep. for the E30 Register and as I am based midway between the rivers Tyne and Wear I feel we could narrow the gap a little as the only other regular meeting for North East Members is at Mallory Park Monthly on a Wednesday night.  I would like to establish a regular monthly meeting at a central point in the Tyne / Tees area and I'm very Keen to hear from any members who may be interested in joining this group.  My contact number and email address can be found on the E30 Register section.

Meanwhile  A Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.

Regards

Richard Betts
