Have you uploaded your pic to a photo hosing website - www.photobucket.com it's free to register. Also have your picture size set to 640x480 for forum use. When it's uploaded, click on the photo itself - there will be an img link code at the bottom (3rd one down). Highlight it and copy it. Then in this thread do a new post and paste the link into it. Job done. HTH

Very nice!

Paintwork looks very good.  The mudflaps certainly help prevent damage to the sides.

MSports kit on her too.  Jammy ghet!

All the best with it.

Thanks, Ill get sum more pics up later gona give her a de-salt and wax last 1 for 2009. I am very lucky, it looks pretty much new, Ive found a few bubbles under the black gloss surround of a rear window which I may get sorted but that is it.

I managed to trace original owner, apparently it cost £52k when new had a lot of extras fitted which all work including rear elec BMW blind which I didnt even know existed and cant really see the point of but all toys welcome.

It was worth the wait and the research!

Feck!

That's a huge wad of ££££s.  I don't think mine was as much as that new.  Must have toys aplenty indeed.

It does scare you when you read how much decent engined/high spec cars cost new.

Hang about on here, it would be interesting to hear how you get on with it.

Thanks and happy new year all!

Yep £52k is a ridiculous amount of cash, I bought my 1st house around that time for £41k...puts it in percpective!

It was a company car for 1st 3 years ordered by the director and only covered 40k with 12 service visits for anything that needed attention theres even a receipt for a new cupholder in the file. It then sold on ebay for £17k in 2004 to a guy who kept the BM history upto date and documented everything he had done to the car, he kept it till the end of 2008 when a BM enthusiast bought it who had the exhaust made and fitted and put £1200 worth of wheels on her, work mileage forced him to order an diesel 1 series and I was lucky enuff to get her!

Oh god why did he do that?

I would rather eat my own feet that have to go from a V8 5er to a lumpy 4 pot diesel that doesn't have any room anywhere in the car for anything other than a pencil rearwards of the handbrake.
