Hi everyone,
Yesterday on a drive back from Edinburgh my Yellow Engine light came on. So I took it to my local garage to get the fault read. Fault came back as... 228: Fuel trim bank 2, permissible range exceeded. So he checked the air intake "quickly" and said it seems fine! He re-set the light and said take it for a long drive... Just wanted to ask if I should check anything else? I head that it could be the lower air intake pipe... Anyone know where about this is??? Oh and car runs fine! Even when light was on.. And MPG is fine also! |

Googling the error code appears to suggest that its caused
by an air intake leak (valve cover, intake boot, etc.). See how it performs but if it comes back then you have to find the source and replace it. |
