If you are not changing your wheel offsets, then there should be no issue. With shorter travel, there is a slightly increased risk that your front wheels will hit the arches at full lock and full compresssion.
40mm is mentioned as the drop on eBay link, which is about the limit for road use - especially at the rear, so be prepared for extra inside tyre wear and more nervous front end around straight ahead. I'd be very nervous about the quaility of the dampers in this kit. I'm not familiar with the brand name, but it seems to be leeching reputation from Racing Dynamics (a well known company). You may be better off getting OEM equivalent sports dampers through GSF or Otto and AC Car Sales will also do Eibach springs for you. More expensive, but I'd have more trust in this combination. |
