oil service E39 / forum advise

   just done my 1st oil service 530i sport touring..the advise on forum diy was obviously submitted by u.s.a. owner.
the instructons are to jack up the car from the drivers side....thats o.k. if your car is l/h drive...u.k. r/h cars need to be jacked up on the passenger side...i.e. l/h side ....the plug is  on the r/h side and drains best if jacked on left...also there is no way you can get a strap on the filter housing a 36mm socket is essential..  other than that very simple procedure
